Product Description

Inconel X-750 (UNS N07750 / W.Nr. 2.4669) is a nickel-chromium alloy made precipitation-hardenable through controlled additions of aluminum and titanium. The resulting γ′ (gamma-prime) strengthening phase delivers high tensile and creep-rupture strength combined with excellent oxidation and corrosion resistance at elevated temperatures.
Our Inconel X-750 bars are supplied in the equalized + precipitation-treated condition (typically AMS 5667) or other approved heat-treatment conditions to meet the stringent requirements of aerospace fastener manufacturing. The material maintains exceptional stress-relaxation resistance, making it ideal for high-temperature bolts, studs, and structural fasteners that must retain clamping force under prolonged thermal exposure.

Precipitation-Hardened High Tensile Strength – Typical room-temperature tensile strength of 160–180 ksi (1100–1240 MPa) and yield strength of 100–130 ksi after proper aging, providing the strength required for critical aerospace fasteners.
Excellent High-Temperature Strength & Creep Resistance – Retains useful strength and low creep rates up to 1300°F (700°C), with service capability extending higher under certain conditions.
Superior Stress-Relaxation Resistance – Outstanding ability to maintain preload in bolts and fasteners during long-term exposure to elevated temperatures—critical for gas turbine and aircraft applications.
Oxidation & Corrosion Resistance – Strong resistance to oxidation up to approximately 1800°F and good resistance to a wide range of corrosive environments, including chloride stress-corrosion cracking in the fully aged condition.
Cryogenic to High-Temperature Versatility – Reliable mechanical properties from sub-zero temperatures through the high-temperature regime

FAQ
A: For maximum tensile strength and clamping force retention, AMS 5670 is preferred. AMS 5667 is recommended when better notch-rupture ductility up to 1100°F is required. Tell us your service temperature and we will advise the best condition.
A: Yes. Our Inconel X-750 bar is supplied in conditions ready for machining aerospace-grade fasteners and meets the mechanical properties required by AMS specifications for bolting applications.
A: Continuous service up to 1300°F (700°C) with excellent stress-relaxation resistance. It is widely used for gas-turbine and airframe fasteners that must maintain preload at elevated temperature.
