Foam alloy (also known as metal foam) is a porous material composed of metals (such as aluminum, copper, nickel, etc.) or their alloys, containing a large number of pores (with porosity ranging from 50% to 90%). Based on the pore structure, it can be divided into:
Closed-cell foam: Pores are independent of each other, resembling bubbles.
Open-cell foam: Pores are interconnected, forming a network structure.
