Product Description
DLX Alloy supplies 3J53 constant elastic alloy strip for precision elastic and frequency-sensitive components.
Also known as 3J342T under the newer Chinese precision-alloy designation system, 3J53 is an Fe-Ni-Cr-Ti-Al constant elastic alloy containing approximately 42% nickel. Its key characteristic is a low temperature coefficient of elastic modulus combined with good strength and elastic stability.
3J53 strip is commonly used for precision diaphragms, bellows, springs, elastic elements, mechanical filter components and other applications where stable elastic performance is required.
Custom strip thickness, width, supply condition and packaging can be provided according to order requirements.
Elastic strain limit up to 1.5%~2.0% (vs. <0.5% for SS), withstands 10⁷ load cycles without permanent deformation (ASTM E466).
Temperature coefficient |αᴇ| ≤ 10 ppm/℃ (-50~150℃), e.g., Ni-Span C® 902 alloy.
Dynamic loss angle tanδ < 0.001 (1kHz), frequency stability ±0.001% (resonator applications).
Stress retention >97% after 1000h (70%σ₀.₂, 150℃ | ASTM E328).
Passivated alloys pass 2000h salt spray (ISO 9227 NSS), e.g., Co40NiCrMo.
Relative permeability μʀ ≤ 1.002 (e.g., Ni36CrTiAl), compliant with ASTM A342 non-magnetic standard.
