Product Description

DLX Alloy supplies high-quality Inconel 625 (UNS N06625 / W.Nr. 2.4856) bars and rods specifically engineered for hydrogen energy applications. With outstanding resistance to hydrogen embrittlement, excellent corrosion resistance, and high strength from cryogenic temperatures up to 980°C, our Inconel 625 bar and rod is the preferred material for high-pressure hydrogen storage vessels, transportation pipelines, and refueling station components.
Manufactured using vacuum induction melting (VIM) followed by electroslag remelting (ESR), DLX Alloy Inconel 625 bars feature ultra-low impurity levels and a uniform microstructure, ensuring long-term reliability in clean hydrogen environments.

High nickel matrix minimizes hydrogen diffusion and trapping, preventing brittleness and cracking in high-pressure hydrogen environments.
Resists pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking in chloride-bearing or sour hydrogen environments.
Yield strength up to 517 MPa (annealed) and excellent fatigue resistance, maintaining properties from cryogenic to 980°C.
Forms a protective oxide layer, ideal for hydrogen production and reforming processes.
Easily welded without post-weld heat treatment, supporting complex vessel and pipeline fabrication.
