Enhanced by precipitation hardening, Monel K500 Rod offers exceptional yield and tensile strength, approximately three times that of Monel 400, with superior hardness achieved through the addition of aluminum and titanium. It maintains excellent mechanical properties from sub-zero temperatures up to 480°C, making it suitable for both cryogenic and elevated temperature applications.
The unique incorporation of aluminum and titanium in Monel K500 Rod enables age hardening, allowing for enhanced strength without compromising its excellent corrosion resistance. This alloy can be readily fabricated and welded in both annealed and age-hardened conditions, serving critical applications in marine engineering, chemical processing, oil and gas production, and high-performance instrumentation.
