This austenitic alloy with 20% chromium content ensures extended service life in furnace applications, immune to "green rot" and compatible with both reducing/oxidizing atmospheres.

Yes, NiCr 2080 is the Chinese standard designation for Nichrome 80:20 (Ni80Cr20) resistance heating alloy wire, containing approximately 80% nickel and 20% chromium. It is one of the most widely used high-resistance heating elements worldwide.
Ni80Cr20 wire is extensively used in industrial electric furnaces, kiln heating elements, foam cutting machines, ceramic kilns, laboratory muffle furnaces, household appliances (toasters, hair dryers), automotive seat heaters, and high-temperature resistors.
Our NiCr 2080 (Nichrome 80:20) resistance wire can continuously operate at 1200°C (2192°F) and withstand short-term peaks up to 1250°C, making it ideal for high-temperature industrial heating applications.
Compared to Ni60 (Cr15) series, Ni80Cr20 offers higher resistivity, better oxidation resistance at 1200°C+, and longer service life. Compared with FeCrAl (0Cr25Al5), nichrome 80:20 has superior high-temperature corrosion resistance and is more cost-effective in most non-sulfur environments.
