The Cr15Ni60 Nickel Chromium Alloy Wire is a high-performance heating wire composed of 55–61% nickel and 15–18% chromium, designed for reliable performance in industrial furnaces and heating systems. With a maximum continuous service temperature of 1150°C, this wire offers excellent oxidation resistance, high electrical resistivity (1.12 ± 0.05 μΩ·m), and durability in corrosive environments. Cr15Ni60 (also known as Ni60Cr15 or Nichrome 60) is a high-performance nickel-chromium resistance heating alloy containing approximately 60% nickel and 15% chromium. It is widely used as heating elements in industrial furnaces, kilns, and household appliances due to its excellent oxidation resistance up to 1150°C.
Ni80Cr20 has higher nickel content (80% Ni) and maximum operating temperature of 1200°C, while Cr15Ni60 offers better cost-performance ratio and is more suitable for applications requiring 1000–1150°C with lower budget. Many customers in Europe, India, and Southeast Asia prefer Cr15Ni60 for medium-high temperature heating elements.
The highest continuous operating temperature is 1150°C (2100°F). Short-term peak temperature can reach 1200°C. It is ideal for electric heating elements in glass, ceramics, and heat treatment industries.
