Product Description
FeCrAl (Iron-Chromium-Aluminum) heating resistance wire is a high-performance alloy primarily composed of Fe-20Cr-5Al (with trace rare earth elements). It exhibits high resistivity (1.4-1.5 μΩ·m) and exceptional high-temperature resistance.
A key advantage is the formation of a dense alumina (Al₂O₃) protective layer at elevated temperatures, providing superior oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance in harsh environments (e.g., hydrogen or sulfur-containing atmospheres). FeCrAl wires also feature low thermal expansion and excellent creep resistance, making them ideal for industrial furnaces, heat treatment systems, nuclear heating modules, and aerospace thermal components.
