High-performance Ni70Cr30 Nichrome Bar, engineered for superior high-resistance applications in heating elements and industrial furnaces.Ni70Cr30 is an austenitic nickel-chromium alloy suitable for temperature applications up to 1250°C. High chromium content (30% in average) provides very good life time, especially in the furnace applications.
Ni70Cr30 is characterized by high resistivity, good oxidation resistance, good ductility after use and excellent weldability. Alloy is not subject to “green rot” and is particularly well suited for reducing and oxidizing atmospheres.The Ni70Cr30 Nichrome Bar is ideal for industrial furnaces, resistors, and precision heating systems due to its low thermal expansion and prolonged service life.

A: Ni70Cr30 (also known as Nichrome 70/30 or Cr30Ni70) is a high-resistance nickel-chromium alloy containing approximately 70% nickel and 30% chromium. Manufactured in China with vacuum induction melting + electroslag remelting process, it offers the highest electrical resistivity and oxidation resistance among common nichrome grades, capable of continuous service up to 1250°C.
A: Ni70Cr30 has higher resistivity (1.38–1.43 μΩ·m) and better high-temperature strength than Ni80Cr20, making it the preferred choice for industrial furnaces, kiln heaters, and heavy-duty electric heating elements operating above 1150°C. Many China and European furnace manufacturers now specify Ni70Cr30 for longer service life.
