This pure nickel zigzag flow mesh serves as a durable substrate or current collector in alkaline water electrolyzers. The zigzag geometry creates an optimized flow field that enhances mass transport of KOH electrolyte, minimizes gas accumulation, and improves overall cell performance compared with conventional parallel or simple pin designs. Ideal for zero-gap configurations, it combines excellent electrical conductivity, outstanding alkali corrosion resistance, and customizable dimensions to meet specific electrolyzer stack requirements.
High-Purity Nickel Construction – Made from pure nickel (Ni200 / Ni201 grade or equivalent) for superior electrical conductivity and long-term stability in concentrated KOH (typically 20–40%).
Zigzag Flow Field Design – Engineered zigzag channels promote uniform electrolyte distribution, efficient bubble removal (H₂/O₂), lower pressure drop, and more even current density across the electrode surface.
Excellent Corrosion Resistance – Forms a stable passive oxide layer in alkaline environments, ensuring extended service life under industrial operating temperatures (60–90 °C) and high current densities.
Customizable Specifications – Available in various mesh sizes, wire diameters, thicknesses, opening geometries, and overall dimensions; suitable for woven, expanded, or specialized zigzag configurations.
