Product Description

Nimonic 80A (UNS N07080) is a wrought, age-hardenable nickel-based superalloy similar to Nimonic 75 but enhanced with aluminum and titanium for superior precipitation hardening. This results in excellent high-temperature tensile strength and creep resistance while maintaining good corrosion and oxidation resistance.
Manufactured to strict specifications, our Nimonic 80A superalloy wire is available in various diameters and finishes, making it suitable for forming, welding, and precision components. It performs reliably in continuous service at elevated temperatures and is particularly valued for its ability to resist deformation (creep) and scaling under prolonged thermal exposure.

Excellent Creep Resistance: Maintains structural integrity under high stress and prolonged high-temperature exposure up to 815°C (1500°F).
Superior Oxidation Resistance: Forms a protective oxide layer that prevents scaling and degradation in oxidizing atmospheres.
High Tensile & Rupture Strength: Precipitation hardened for outstanding mechanical performance at elevated temperatures.
Good Corrosion Resistance: Performs well in corrosive high-temperature environments.
Age-Hardenable: Strengthened by titanium and aluminum additions for enhanced gamma-prime precipitates.
Weldable and Formable: Suitable for TIG welding and various fabrication processes.
Low Cobalt Content: Preferred for certain nuclear and specialized applications.
Versatile Wire Form: Available in precision diameters for springs, fasteners, and custom components.
