Product Description
Inconel 718 Spring Wire own a very good corrosion resistance in many media, especially with excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion,intercrystalline corrosion, and erode in oxide, also good resistance to inorganic acid corrosion, such as nitric acid, phosphoric acid, sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid.
Inconel 718 Spring Wire can resist the alkali and organic acid corrosion in the oxidation and reduction environment. Effect resists the chloride reduction stress corrosion cracking. Normally no corrosion in the sea-water and industry environments since high corrosion resistance to the sea-water and salting liquid,as well as in high temperature, without sensitivity during welding.
Inconel 718 Spring Wire have the resistance to oxidation and carbonizing in the static and cycle environments, also hacve the resistance the chlorine corrosion.
1. Good creep rupture strength at high temperatures.
2. Higher strength than Inconel X-750.
3. Better mechanical properties at lower temperatures than Nimonic 90 & Inconel X-750.
4. Age hardenable.

Inconel 718 Spring Wire A Nickel-Chromium alloy being precipitation hardenable and having high creep-rupture strength at high temperatures to about 700°C (1290°F). It has higher strength than Inconel X-750 and better mechanical properties at lower temperatures than Nimonic 90 and Inconel X-750. It can be used for any TSMC spring product such as wave springs, retaining rings and compression springs.
