Inconel 625 (UNS N06625) is a solid-solution strengthened superalloy renowned for its exceptional resistance to corrosive media, including chloride-induced pitting and crevice corrosion — common risks in humid or impure hydrogen environments. Its high molybdenum and niobium content provides superior resistance to hydrogen embrittlement compared to many alternatives, making it the preferred choice for Type IV hydrogen storage tanks, hydrogen refueling station piping, long-distance hydrogen pipelines, and mobile hydrogen transport trailers.

Available in seamless construction for maximum pressure integrity, DLX Inconel 625 tubes and pipes support operating pressures up to 700 bar and temperatures from cryogenic to 600°C, ensuring leak-free performance in the most challenging hydrogen energy applications.
