Product Description
Inconel X-750 Round Bars, a premier nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy, is engineered to withstand severely corrosive environments, pitting, and crevice corrosion.
This high-performance Inconel X-750 Round Bars exhibits exceptional yield, tensile, and creep-rupture properties at high temperatures, making it ideal for use from cryogenic conditions up to long-term service at 1200°F.
The unique addition of niobium in Inconel X-750 Round Bars enables age hardening, allowing annealing and welding without spontaneous hardening during heating and cooling, while niobium and molybdenum enhance the alloy’s matrix for superior strength without requiring a strengthening heat treatment.
Unlike other nickel-chromium alloys hardened with aluminum and titanium, Inconel X-750 Round Bars is readily fabricated and can be welded in both annealed and precipitation-hardened conditions, serving critical applications in aerospace, chemical processing, marine engineering, pollution-control equipment, and nuclear reactors.
