Product Description

Overview

HIGH TEMPERATURE ALLOY BARDescription of High Temperature Alloy Rod Nimonic 75

High Temperature Alloy Rod

Nimonic 75 is a nickel-chromium alloy with controlled additions of titanium and carbon, commonly identified as UNS N06075. It is designed for applications requiring good oxidation resistance, thermal stability and moderate mechanical strength at elevated temperatures.

Nimonic 75 contains approximately 18–21% chromium, 0.2–0.6% titanium and 0.08–0.15% carbon, with nickel as the balance. The alloy is known for its oxidation and scaling resistance at high temperatures and is used in gas turbine engineering, industrial furnace components and heat-treatment equipment.

DLX supplies Nimonic 75 alloy rod and bar in customized dimensions, surface conditions and delivery forms for industrial customers.

Feature of Nimonic 75 Nickel Alloy Rod

✔Extreme Oxidation & Creep Resistance

Outperforms standard alloys in 815°C+ exhaust gas and steam environments, with oxidation resistance 3X higher than 304 stainless steel.

✔ Red-Hot Mechanical Stability

Maintains 120+ MPa tensile strength at 815°C (1500°F) - from ambient to extreme turbine operating temperatures.

✔ Optimized Alloy Reinforcement

80% Ni-20% Cr-Ti matrix (UNS N06075) prevents sigma phase embrittlement for decade-long service life.

✔ Thermal Fatigue Resistance

Unique grain boundary design withstands 10,000+ thermal cycles in turbine start-stop operations.

✔ Superior Hot Workability

Precision forged into complex turbine geometries with zero cracking at 1100°C+ forming temperatures.
