Ni95Al5 contains approximately 95% nickel and 5% aluminum and is commonly used as a thermal spray feedstock for producing adherent nickel-aluminum coatings.

The wire is suitable for compatible arc spray and flame spray processes and can be used for bond coats, corrosion protection, wear-resistant coating systems and selected elevated-temperature applications.
