Product Description
Our Ni/Cu clad plate is a specialized bimetallic composite featuring one pure nickel side and one pure copper side, optimized as low resistance battery busbar material. Produced through advanced metallurgical bonding, it delivers significantly lower electrical resistance than pure nickel while maintaining excellent spot-welding performance on the nickel surface.
This copper nickel clad sheet is widely used in electric vehicle battery packs, energy storage systems, and high-drain battery assemblies where minimizing voltage drop, heat generation, and connection resistance is critical. The low resistance design improves overall battery efficiency, thermal management, and long-term reliability.
Rapid Export Fulfillment: Integrated slitting and packing lines ensure your order is ready for port delivery within days, not weeks.
Dual-Metal Synergy: Eliminates the need for transitional plating or mechanical clamping, simplifying busbar design and improving reliability.
Proven Industrial Scale: 12,000 m² facility dedicated to dissimilar metal bonding, ensuring stable supply for multi-ton global contracts.
20-Year Quality Heritage: Backed by two decades of metallurgical expertise and a "Zero-Defect" manufacturing philosophy.
Total Quality Control: Integrated manufacturing from high-purity melting to precision slitting, ensuring 100% batch-to-batch consistency.

FAQ
A: Pure nickel has relatively high resistance. Our Ni/Cu clad plate combines copper’s high conductivity with nickel’s weldability, resulting in much lower electrical resistance, reduced heat generation, and improved battery efficiency while remaining easy to weld.
A: Yes. The low resistance Ni/Cu clad plate is widely used in EV and energy storage battery packs for module interconnects and busbars, helping minimize energy loss and improve thermal performance under high current loads.
A: Absolutely. We offer flexible thickness ratios (higher copper content for lower resistance) along with custom total thickness, width, length, and temper to match your specific battery busbar requirements.
A: The strong metallurgical bond ensures the clad plate remains intact under thermal cycling, vibration, and mechanical stress typical in battery packs, preventing delamination and maintaining consistent low resistance performance.
